This hotel was a perfect match for our stay. We had a beautiful view of the waterfront and the island. Was just what we needed. It's a little dated which is why the 4 star but don't let that stop you from having an amazing stay.
Overall our room was nice, the pool and hot tub were open 24 hours which was really nice, the location was great and easy to get to. We had a room with Jacuzzi and really loved it. The room overall was clean, did notice a lot of dead bugs up in the ceiling light fixture but did not see any evidence of unwanted guests if you know what I mean. They had some fresh beverages 24 hours, cucumber water included. My husband and I talked about it being one of our new go to spots just to get away a couple times a year.
We were very happy with our stay here. Everything was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. The view out the balcony was BEAUTIFUL! The kids loved playing on the beach and it felt so safe in the water since it was so shallow. We were able to go next door to eat dinner but you may have to wait quite a while. The pool was 88 degrees F and the pool 104. Perfect. Breakfast was good too with a full spread and coffee. We also enjoyed the bonfires to meet other guests. The shuttle to the ferry was very convenient.
We checked in late and the guest services team was awesome. The room was very nice and comfortable—exactly what we needed after a week of sleeping on the ground backpacking. The hotel has great amenities (though we didn’t have time to enjoy them this trip) and our Lakeview room made for an amazing sunrise. Bonus points for normal coffee! We’d definitely stay here again.
We used them once again to house our employees for the St Ignace Truck Show and once again, nothing short of an awesome experience from start to finish. Stacey and her staff were exceptional, from the initial booking, to multiple questions, adding and deleting rooms, to overall assistance all weekend. The whole place was nice and clean, breakfast was fresh, and the water view some of our rooms had was an added bonus. We look forward to next year!-JX Truck Center.
The front desk staff was super nice. They let me decide what floor we had! Our son appreciates being so close to the pool. Also our views of the lake were incredible and we had an awesome time. Good breakfast too!
I cannot say enough about Stacy the manager I spoke with. Our reservation was for the wrong date and Stacy went out of her way to make sure my husband and I were both happy. We will never stay anywhere else and will tell everyone we know how great the service was !! Also, great breakfast and very clean from the lobby all the way to our room. We will defiantly be back
View is fantastic. Staff helpful and can arrange shuttle to the island ferry within minutes. Breakfast was maybe a little basic, but certainly good. ONLY thing that would make this hotel any better is a second elevator. Parking also good.
